Xinfeng Sanyuan Temple Introduction
Following the country roads, a magnificent red archway suddenly rises amidst the rural fields. Looking up, the intricately carved top exudes grandeur, yet it still cannot hide its solemnity. Passing through the archway, a pair of stone lions guard the entrance in front of the temple. Unlike traditional stone lions, these have flat faces and round bodies, with their fun, wide-open mouths adding a lively touch. Crossing the threshold into the Sanchuan Temple, bright red lanterns hang throughout, creating an extraordinary atmosphere; from the main entrance to the god shrine, everything is constructed from camphor wood, with unique carvings and decorations that are lavish and exquisite, making it feel like being in an artistic palace. As the night falls and colorful lights are illuminated, entering this place feels like stepping into a sacred realm.
