Xinfeng Sanyuan Temple Introduction
Following the country road, a magnificent red archway suddenly rises amidst the rural fields. Looking up, the ornate carvings at the top reflect grandeur, yet it still cannot conceal its solemn presence. Passing through the archway, a pair of stone lions guard the entrance of the temple; unlike traditional stone lions, these have flat features and rounded bodies, with amusing wide mouths. Stepping over the threshold into the San Chuan Dian, vibrant red lanterns hang throughout the hall, creating an extraordinary atmosphere. From the main entrance to the shrine, everything is constructed from camphor wood, with intricately carved beams and ceilings, adorned in splendid decoration that is exceptionally exquisite, reminiscent of an art palace. As the night falls and colorful lights illuminate the scene, entering this space feels like stepping into a sacred realm.
