Xinfeng Sanyuan Temple Introduction
Following the rural pathway, a grand red archway suddenly rises in the pastoral landscape. Looking up, the intricate carvings at the top exude luxury and grandeur, yet the serious and solemn atmosphere cannot be overlooked. Passing through the archway, a pair of stone lions guard the entrance to the temple. Unlike traditional stone lions, these lions have flat faces and round bodies, with their amusingly gaping mouths forming an eight-shaped curve. Stepping over the threshold and entering the San Chuan Temple, the sight of vibrant red lanterns hanging throughout the hall is truly magnificent. From the main entrance to the divine altar, everything is constructed from camphor wood, featuring meticulously designed beams and painted rafters, adorned in lavish and exquisite decorations, as if one has stepped into a palace of art. As the evening lights begin to glow, the colorful illumination adds to the charm, making it feel like being in a sacred realm.
