Xinfeng Sanyuan Temple Introduction
Following the countryside path, you suddenly encounter a magnificent red archway towering amidst the pastoral scenery. Looking up, the ornate carvings at the top exude grandeur, yet they cannot overshadow the overwhelming solemnity of the structure. Passing through the archway, a pair of stone lions guard the entrance of the temple, distinct from traditional stone lions. Here, the lions have a flat appearance, round bodies, and lively, amusing gaping mouths shaped like the character '八'. Crossing the threshold into the San Chuan Dian, large red lanterns hang throughout the temple, creating an extraordinary atmosphere; from the main entrance to the deity's shrine, everything is constructed from camphor wood, with intricately designed beams and painted rafters showcasing exquisite decoration, resembling an artistic palace. As dusk falls and the colorful lights illuminate the night, entering the temple feels like stepping into a sacred realm.
