Located next to Donglong Temple, Donglong Tang Health Shop's signature product is the "Gui Ling Gao," which is highly praised by patrons. "Gui Ling Gao" is a health food traditionally consumed by the nobility in the Qing Dynasty, typically enjoyed as a dessert after meals. While authentic Gui Ling Gao is mainly available in Hong Kong or mainland China, it is generally imported into Taiwan from those regions. To ensure that people in Taiwan can easily taste the most authentic Gui Ling Gao, the young owner, Mr. Shih Yi-hsin, traveled to mainland China years ago to learn the traditional manufacturing techniques from the over eighty-year-old master, Jian Youxin. He went through thirty to forty unsuccessful attempts before mastering the recipe.
