Next to Donglong Temple, Donglong Tang Health Shop's signature product is the "Gui Ling Gao," which is highly praised by patrons. "Gui Ling Gao" is a health food traditionally used by the nobility of the Qing Dynasty in China and is typically enjoyed as a dessert after meals. Since authentic original flavors of Gui Ling Gao are mostly available only in Hong Kong or mainland China, in Taiwan, Gui Ling Gao is usually imported from these regions. To allow Taiwanese people to easily taste the most authentic Gui Ling Gao, several years ago, the young owner Mr. Shih Yi-Chin traveled to mainland China to learn the traditional preparation techniques from an over eighty-year-old master craftsman, Jian You-Xin, experiencing thirty to forty failed attempts along the way.
