To honor the chaste and filial conduct of Su Shi, the wife of the scholar Wu Guobu from Tamsui District, a stone tablet was erected in the sixth year of the Guangxu era (1880). Wu Guobu participated in the fundraising for the construction of the Tamsui District City and received awards for it. Su Shi became a widow at the age of twenty-six and maintained her fidelity for over forty years.
