In recognition of the filial piety of Wu Guobu's wife, Su, who was a scholar in Tamsui, a memorial arch was built in the sixth year of the Guangxu reign (1880). Wu Guobu participated in the donation for the construction of Tamsui City, which received awards. Su became a widow at the age of twenty-six and upheld her fidelity for over forty years.
