In an era of technological advancement and information explosion, the 1950s and 60s saw Taiwan's economic rise characterized by a rich sense of humanity and a laid-back attitude towards life, making those who lived through that time feel a deep sense of nostalgia! To help the Generation X and Baby Boomer crowd rediscover that gradually forgotten moment, Mr. Sun, a member of Generation Y, has specially established a restaurant called Thick Kindness Dining. He has utilized over 10 years of design expertise to create a retro-themed restaurant reminiscent of early Republic of China. Outside the restaurant, there is a tricycle, and inside, a specimen of a Taiwanese yellow cow. Together with traditional delicacies like pork rib rice, chicken leg rice, braised bamboo shoots soup, and sweet potato leave soup, the entire space and dining experience strive to make customers feel as if they have entered a time tunnel to relive their childhood memories!
