Extreme North Blue Dot Introduction
Located next to White Sand Bay at the 23.5K mark of Taiwan's Provincial Highway 2, the site was originally an abandoned coast guard barracks. "Extreme North Blue Point" is flanked by Linshanbi to the left and Fugui Cape to the right, facing the sea with excellent scenic conditions. It invites local artists to hold art exhibitions and hosts a creative market for local farmers every Sunday, supporting the development of local creative brands through a series of activities and establishing a new cultural hub for the local community on the North Coast, enhancing the visibility of North Coast cultural and creative arts. This area was once an important military fortress of the North Coast, managed by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for the North Coast and Guanyin Mountain National Scenic Area, and was completed in mid-October 2016. As it is located at the northernmost point of Taiwan, the site was named "Extreme North Blue Point." In September 2017, it began operating under the management of Miss Dessert.
