Polar Blue Spot Introduction
Located at 23.5K on Highway 2 beside Baisha Bay, the site was originally an abandoned coast guard facility. "Extreme North Blue Point" is flanked by Linshanbi on the left and Fuguei Cape on the right, facing the sea with excellent scenic conditions. It invites local artists to hold art exhibitions and hosts a creative small farmers' market every Sunday. Through a series of activities, it assists in the development of local creative brands, creating a new cultural landmark for the local community along the northern coast, enhancing the visibility of cultural and creative arts in the area. Originally, the northern coast was also an important military fortress, managed by the Tourism Bureau of the Ministry of Transportation and Communications for the North Coast and Guanyinshan National Scenic Area, and it was completed in mid-October 2016. Due to its location at the northernmost point of Taiwan, this site is named "Extreme North Blue Point." In September 2017, it was taken over and operated by Misti Dessert King.
