Fuhchi Fishing Port Introduction
Fujee Fishing Port is a tourist fishing port located near the Greater Taipei area, situated by Cape Fugui in the Shimen District of New Taipei City. Originally a small fishing village, it developed into a small fishing port due to the coastal operating environment, primarily catching fish to supply the local demand. It boasts excellent bay topography with a wide sea surface and sheltered terrain, providing favorable conditions for harbor construction. Fujee Fishing Port is renowned for its abundant flower crabs, with an annual production exceeding 300 tons, along with a variety of other seafood, including fish, shrimp, clams, lobsters, and squids. The Jinshan District Fishermen's Association established the 'Fujee Fish Products Direct Sales Center' here, planning to showcase various fish products for local sale. Its proximity to the port and the ability to purchase fresh and reasonably priced seafood have significantly enhanced Fujee Fishing Port's reputation, making it an unmissable tourist attraction in the Shimen area along the North Coast. During weekends, it attracts numerous seafood lovers. Visitors can personally select fresh and succulent seafood, and the vendors thoughtfully offer cooking services to fulfill even the most discerning palates.
