Fuji Fishing Port Introduction
Fugui Fishing Harbor is a tourism fishing port located near the Greater Taipei area, situated close to Fugui Cape in the Shimen District of New Taipei City. Originally a small fishing village primarily engaged in coastal operations, it has developed into a small fishing port adapted to the local terrain. The harbor supplies catches to meet local demand and is renowned for its good bay topography, wide sea surface, and sheltered landform, which provide excellent conditions for harbor construction. It is famous for producing flower crabs, with an annual yield exceeding 300 tons, along with various other seafood such as fish, shrimp, clams, lobsters, and cuttlefish. The Jinshan District Fishermen's Association has established the "Fugui Seafood Direct Sales Center" here, planning to display and sell various fish products on-site. Due to its proximity to the port and the ability to purchase fresh, high-quality seafood at reasonable prices, Fugui Fishing Harbor has become an increasingly popular tourist destination in the Shimen area along the North Coast. Every weekend, it attracts many seafood enthusiasts. Visitors can personally select fresh and plump seafood, and the vendors thoughtfully provide cooking services, surely satisfying even the most discerning palates.
