Fugui Harbor Introduction
Fugui Fishing Harbor is a tourist fishing port near Greater Taipei, located close to Fugui Cape in the Shimen District of New Taipei City. Originally just a small fishing village focused on near-shore operations, it was developed into a small fishing port due to its geographical features. The harbor supplies local demands with fresh catches, offering excellent docking conditions thanks to its well-formed bays and sheltered geographical layout. It is famous for its abundant flower crabs, with an annual production exceeding 300 tons, along with a variety of other seafood such as fish, shrimp, clams, lobsters, and squids. The Jinshan District Fisheries Association established the "Fugui Seafood Direct Sales Center" here, offering a range of fish products for display and sale. Its proximity to the port allows visitors to purchase fresh and affordable seafood directly, making Fugui Fishing Harbor increasingly renowned and a must-visit tourist attraction in the Shimen area along the North Coast. Every weekend, it attracts many seafood lovers.
