Fugueijiao Fishing Port Introduction
Fuji Fishing Port is a tourist fishing port located near Greater Taipei, in the vicinity of Fugui Cape in Shimen District, New Taipei City. Originally a small fishing village, it developed into a small fishing port due to its coastal operations. It primarily provides local seafood supply, taking advantage of its excellent bay topography, wide sea surface, and sheltered terrain, which offers excellent conditions for port construction. The port is famous for its abundant flower crabs, with an annual production exceeding 300 tons, and it also has a variety of fish, shrimp, clams, lobsters, and squids. The Jinshan District Fisheries Association established the "Fuji Fishery Direct Sales Center" here, planning various seafood products for display and sale nearby. Because it is close to the port and allows customers to purchase fresh and reasonably priced seafood directly, Fuji Fishing Port has gained increasing popularity and has become a must-visit tourist destination in the Shimen area along the North Coast. Every weekend, it attracts many seafood lovers. Visitors can personally select fresh and delicious seafood, with the shops providing thoughtful cooking services to satisfy even the most discerning palates.
