Fuji Fishing Port Introduction
Fuji Fishing Port is a scenic fishing port near Greater Taipei, located close to Fugui Cape in the Shimen District of New Taipei City. Originally just a small fishing village, it was developed into a small fishing port to accommodate coastal operations. The port supplies local needs with fish catch, thanks to the favorable bay terrain, wide sea surface, and sheltered landscape, which provide excellent conditions for harbor construction. It is renowned for its abundant flower crabs, with an annual output reaching over 300 tons, along with various fish, shrimp, clams, lobsters, and squid. The Jinshan District Fisheries Association established the "Fuji Seafood Direct Marketing Center" here, planning to display and sell various seafood products nearby. Being close to the port allows for direct purchases of fresh and affordable seafood, making Fuji Fishing Port increasingly popular and a must-visit tourist spot in the Shimen area of the north coast. It attracts many seafood lovers on weekends. Here, visitors can personally select fresh and plump seafood, and the vendors thoughtfully provide cooking services to satisfy even the most discerning palates.
