Founded in 1995, Papa Mia is owned by a passionate and dedicated female owner, Ms. Yen. She mentioned that during her university days, she studied tourism and developed a deep admiration for Italian cuisine. After graduating, she not only opened an Italian restaurant but also spent six months in Italy learning authentic Italian cooking. Over the past decade, she has frequently traveled to Italy for further study, dedicating all her spirit and time to the art of Italian culinary. The owner emphasizes that Papa Mia does not focus on decoration but prioritizes the quality of the dishes. Regarding cooking style, 80% of the flavors are kept true to authentic Italian cuisine, while 20% have been adjusted to various tastes. Interestingly, customers can order sauces and pasta separately, with a choice of seven types of pasta and twenty different sauces to mix and match!
