Top City Taichung Introduction
Located at the most important transportation hub in Taichung City, Taichung’s Mitsukoshi is the largest department store in Taiwan. With 14 floors above ground and 2 floors underground, this massive department store combines food, retail, wholesale, boutiques, and entertainment, providing spacious environments that prevent congestion while shopping. In addition to hosting internationally renowned brands, it also features many famous eateries such as Din Tai Fung, GODIVA, and響食天堂 (Xiang Shi Tian Tang). The Taiwan Food Court, decorated in traditional Taiwanese style, transports consumers back to the 1960s and 1970s. Moreover, the entire building is designed with green energy concepts, incorporating green space for water conservation, rainwater recycling, a solar power generation system on the roof, and ice-storage air conditioning, creating a new model for urban green buildings.
