Yuzhenxin/Daan Department Store Counter Introduction
A fortune poem, six sacred divinations, with the encouragement of Mazu, Yu Zhen Xin began its pastry business. Over the past half century, from a novice to a renowned pastry expert in Taiwan today, we have always adhered to our original intention: "to make those who care for us feel proud." Yu Zhen Xin's pastries don't have any exclusive secret recipe; they are made with a heart that cares for customers and a commitment to quality ingredients. In order to meet the needs of vegetarian pilgrims and locals visiting the Dajia Mazu Temple, Yu Zhen Xin replaced the traditional lard recipe with a formula using natural butter. This not only created the today-famous "butter pastry," but also established Yu Zhen Xin as the hometown of butter pastries.
