Yu Cheng Hsin / Chiang Kai-shek Store Introduction
A poem on a fortune, six sacred divinations; with the encouragement of Mazu, Yu Zhen Xin began her pastry business. Over the past half-century, from being a novice to becoming a renowned pastry expert in Taiwan, we have always held onto our original intention: "to make those who care for us feel honored." Yu Zhen Xin's pastries do not have any secret recipes; what we possess is a heart that cares for our customers and a commitment to quality ingredients. In order to meet the needs of pilgrims and locals who prefer vegetarian options while visiting the Dajia Mazu Temple, Yu Zhen Xin replaced the traditional lard with a recipe using natural butter. This not only led to the creation of the renowned "butter pastry," but also earned Yu Zhen Xin the title of the hometown of butter pastries.
