Taichung Foods

A fortune poem and six sacred sticks guided Yu-Chun Hsin to start a pastry business with the encouragement of Mazu. Over the past half century, from a novice to a well-known pastry expert in Taiwan, we have always adhered to our original intention: "To make those who care for us feel honored." Yu-Chun Hsin's pastries do not rely on any secret recipes, but rather on a heartfelt commitment to customers and dedication to quality ingredients. To cater to the needs of vegetarian worshippers and locals visiting the Dajia Mazu Temple, Yu-Chun Hsin replaced traditional lard with a natural butter recipe, which not only led to the famous "Butter Pastry" we know today but also earned Yu-Chun Hsin the title of the hometown of Butter Pastry.
