A Zai Tongzi Rice Cake Shop was founded by the ancestor Dai Jiu Gong in a traditional cloth shop next to Dajia Jenn Lann Temple during the Japanese occupation. In the 27th year of the Republic, the second generation, Yan Zai, took over and later moved to the current location on Jiangong Road. With meticulous ingredients and time-consuming handmade processes, they create nostalgic traditional delicacies that are reminiscent of the past.
