A-Song Cut Bun Introduction
A-Song Gua Bao, located by Yongle Market, is a beloved snack among Tainan locals. Unlike the traditional gua bao that is filled with braised pork belly, A-Song's version is stuffed with meat cooked in herbal soup. The regular bao includes pig skin, while the lean meat bao and pig tongue bao are, as the names suggest, filled with lean meat and pig tongue, respectively. Customers can choose their fillings based on personal preference, with slight differences in price. Gourmets highly recommend the pig tongue bao, and first-time visitors are encouraged to try this unique offering that's hard to find elsewhere. Additionally, don’t miss the herbal soup here, which is exceptionally sweet from the essence of the meat and pairs perfectly with the gua bao.
