Guomindang Market Fish Ball Cuisine Introduction

I haven't been to this restaurant, but just by hearing its name, one might think it is located in a traditional market. Upon arrival, however, I discovered that it is actually a bright and stylish establishment. The name "National Market" has its origins, as the Shen family has been selling fish balls at the National Market near the Yongkang Street Night Market for over 30 years, and their handmade fish balls are quite popular among regular customers. Currently, the restaurant offers as many as 8 varieties of fish balls, and the fresh and sweet broth infused with fish essence enhances the flavor of the fish balls wonderfully. Just adding a bit of finely chopped celery results in a bowl of broth that keeps you coming back for more. In addition to the signature fish ball soup, the restaurant's specialty is the marinated shredded mackerel rice. Steamed rice is drizzled with meat sauce and topped with fragrant mackerel flakes, complemented by fresh cucumber slices, making it hard to stop at just one bite.
