Owner Wu Yizheng reflects on entering the coffee roasting business over 30 years ago, a time when very few people understood the art of coffee. With the strength accumulated in coffee and beverage raw materials, he seized the opportunity to innovate and transform, leading to the current landscape of coffee beverages and dining in department stores. Many stories of Chiayi people have unfolded here, as a cup of coffee has accompanied countless beautiful memories of Chiayi residents. After more than 30 years of experience, he can be considered a master of coffee roasting in Chiayi, insisting that the coffee beans on the shelves must be freshly roasted within seven days. The selected raw materials and brewing equipment are all carefully controlled. Here, it’s not just about selling coffee; it’s about sharing and experiencing coffee in a spacious, bright environment where everyone who visits can engage and enjoy genuine connections over their drinks. In recent years, it has led the local coffee culture trend by offering various educational courses, hoping to help small farmers in Chiayi develop their own roasting techniques, brand packaging, and marketing strategies, while working together to expand the entire coffee culture industry in Chiayi. They regularly hold coffee aesthetics sharing sessions, where, like the art of tea, the process of brewing with various exquisite coffee tools becomes a living art for every coffee artisan, blending visual, olfactory, taste, and literary enjoyment.
