Cai's Handmade Q Bun (Hong Yang Food Shop) Introduction
Surrounded by the city of Peach, the Stone Monkey initially made pork buns shaped like little pigs out of whim, to encourage his picky and weak-eating son. This cute little pig bun began to appear on dining tables across Taiwan, becoming a beloved snack made with love by mothers for their children. The "Chiayi Leitao Bao" is inspired by Chiayi's former name - Peach City. The old city gates connect in such a way that they resemble a peach, hence the creation of peach-shaped buns to symbolize the image of Peach City. Inside the peach bun, there is a carving of the Stone Monkey symbolic of Chiayi, making it very cute and interesting! Recommended souvenir: Chiayi Leitao Bao.
