The February 28 Incident is one of the most significant events in Taiwan's modern history. The first 228 Memorial Park in the Jiayun-Nan region, symbolizing ethnic integration, was completed and inaugurated on February 28, 1996, 49 years after the incident occurred in 1947, following more than two years of planning and construction. It is indeed a place of reflection and deep sorrow.
