Day Blue Savory Pie Introduction
In November 2016, two girls who studied in the Fine Arts Department returned to Chiayi City from their respective work cities and opened "Riqing Savory Pie" in a small alley in the city. The name "Riqing" comes from the team name they chose as mountain climbing enthusiasts, meaning to pray that every day spent climbing is a sunny day. With their Fine Arts background, the two have their own unique insistence on the decor and design of the store. Not wanting to adhere to any standardized style, they personally painted the walls, arranged a variety of small goods and cute tableware on the shelves, and decorated the store with their treasured miniature models. Every inconspicuous corner of the shop reflects their care and creativity. The aesthetic of Riqing Savory Pie cannot be categorized or replicated because it originates from the two girls' boundless imagination and freedom. Another commonality between the two girls is their love for savory pies and scones. After tasting savory pies and scones from various places at home and abroad, they realized that the best flavors come from the meticulous care and sincerity their mothers put into cooking for the family. Hence, they rolled up their sleeves and dove into the world of flour and butter, aiming to provide all the friends who visit their shop with delicious, reassuring, and healthy food—just like family. Even when they were once tempted to give up due to the complexities of making savory pies, seeing the satisfied expressions of customers enjoying the food, the relaxed and comfortable atmosphere in the shop, and the enjoyment of natural and healthy dishes was the original intention of Riqing. In every day to come in Chiayi City, regardless of sunshine or rain, they will continue to offer warm and delicious dishes.
