Riyou Green Savory Pie Introduction
In November 2016, two girls who studied together in the Fine Arts Department returned to Chiayi City from their respective work cities and opened "Riqing Savory Pie" in a small alley in the city. The name "Riqing" comes from the team name of the two mountain-loving friends, which means praying that every day spent hiking is a sunny day. With their background in fine arts, both girls have their unique insistence on the decor design of the shop. They personally painted the walls, arranged a variety of small goods and cute tableware on the shelves, and placed their beloved small models throughout the shop, ensuring that every inconspicuous corner reflects their care and creativity. The aesthetic of Riqing Savory Pie cannot be categorized or replicated, as it originates from the imaginative and free-spirited minds of these two girls. Another common point between them is their love for savory pies and scones. After tasting savory pies and scones from various places both domestically and internationally, they realized that the most wonderful flavor comes from the love and purity infused into the meals their mothers prepared for their families. Hence, the two decided to roll up their sleeves and dive into the world of flour and butter, aiming to provide all their friends who visit the shop with delicious, reassuring, and healthy food—just like family. Even though they once contemplated giving up due to the complexity of making savory pies, the sight of satisfied customers enjoying their meals in the relaxed atmosphere of the shop—in savoring natural and healthy dishes while truly experiencing life and the moment—remains the essence of Riqing. In every coming day in Chiayi City, regardless of sunshine or rain, they will continue to offer warm and delicious dishes.
