Koumi Savory Pie Introduction
In November 2016, two girls who studied together in the Fine Arts Department returned to Chiayi City from their respective working cities to open "Rizhi Qing Savory Pie" in a small alley in the city. The name "Rizhi Qing" comes from the team name chosen by the two mountain-loving friends, which means praying that every day of hiking is a sunny day. With their background in the fine arts, the two have unique insistence on all the decor and design within the store. Not wanting to be confined to any standard style, they personally painted the walls, arranged the myriad of small goods and cute tableware on the shelves, and decorated various corners with their cherished small models, allowing every inconspicuous nook in the store to reflect their dedication and creativity. The aesthetic of Rizhi Qing Savory Pie cannot be categorized or replicated, as it stems from the two girls' imaginative and unrestrained ideas. Another common point for these two girls is their love for savory pies and scones. After tasting savory pies and scones from various places domestically and internationally, they realized that the most wonderful flavor comes from the care and sincerity that mothers infuse into their cooking for the family. Thus, they rolled up their sleeves and plunged into the world of flour and butter to provide their guests—much like family—with delicious, reassuring, and healthy food. Even though they once considered giving up due to the complexity of making savory pies, seeing the satisfaction on customers' faces as they enjoy the food, in the relaxed atmosphere of the store, savoring natural and healthy cuisine, truly feeling life and the present, is the original intention of Rizhi Qing. In every future day in Chiayi City, regardless of sunshine or rain, they will continue to offer warm and delicious dishes.
