RizQin Savory Pie Introduction
In November 2016, two girls who studied in the fine arts department returned to Chiayi City from their respective work cities and opened "Riqing Savory Pie" in a small alley in the city. The name "Riqing" comes from the team name chosen by the two girls, who love climbing mountains, meaning "praying that every day of climbing is a sunny day." With a background in fine arts, the two have unique insistences on the decoration and design of the store. Not wanting to stick to any formal style, they painted the walls themselves, personally arranged various small goods and cute tableware on the shelves, and adorned the store with their beloved little models, making every inconspicuous corner filled with their thoughtfulness and creativity. The aesthetic of Riqing Savory Pie cannot be categorized or replicated, as it stems from the imaginative and free-spirited minds of the two girls. Another common point between them is their love for savory pies and scones. After tasting savory pies and scones from both domestic and international locations, they realized that the best flavors come from the care and purity infused into the dishes by mothers cooking for their families. They decided to roll up their sleeves and dive into the world of flour and butter, aiming to provide all friends who visit the store with delicious, safe, and healthy food—just like for family. Even though they once thought of giving up due to the complexities of making savory pies, seeing the satisfied expressions of customers enjoying the food and the leisurely comfort in the store, relishing natural and healthy dishes, and truly experiencing life in the moment is what Riqing is all about. In every future day in Chiayi City, regardless of whether it's sunny or rainy, they will continue to provide warm and delicious meals.
