Jia Guan Xi Jian Bing Introduction
At nearly 35 years old, Chen Wen-hsing, who works at a food company, harbors a dream of starting his own business and steps into a forest of food fraught with challenges. With no previous baking experience, he began by asking senior colleagues and related teachers for guidance. After numerous failures and setbacks, it took him nearly five years to finally find his place in this forest. To highlight the uniqueness and distinctiveness of his pancakes, Chen Wen-hsing started developing pancakes for the "tourism market," changing the traditional shapes and flavors, constantly coming up with creatively inspired pancake ideas. Once the weekend arrives, he fills his stall with his products and directly sells them at tourist attractions. Over time, he gradually gained recognition, and other vendors began to purchase his products, leading him to discover even more potential for his creative pancakes. Thus, Chen Wen-hsing continued to unleash his vivid imagination. From the "Panda Pancake," inspired by the popularity of the panda at the Taipei Zoo, to the "Little Duck Pancake," riding the wave of the yellow duck trend, he can now offer customized pancakes for businesses, with detailed molds that can precisely imprint QR codes. When customers scan the pancake with their mobile phones, they are immediately directed to a specified webpage or Facebook page. Not only does he provide cute and customizable pancakes, but Chen Wen-hsing also specially designed a peach-shaped pancake exclusive to Chiayi City, inspired by Chiayi's nickname "Peach City," due to its peach-like shape. This "Zhulotao" pancake even received the honor of being one of the top ten souvenirs in Chiayi City. The following year, he continued to innovate, imprinting the scenery of Chiayi City onto pancakes, allowing tourists to taste the beauty of Chiayi City in every bite. Over his ten-year journey in the pancake industry, Chen Wen-hsing's path through the food forest was once filled with muddy obstacles and dangers. He understands that in this region, any slight negligence could lead to obscurity; thus, he remains constantly vigilant about innovating and improving. On the road ahead, he will continue to uphold the original intention of entrepreneurship, ensuring that every endeavor is fully committed and flawless.
