Douhua Old Shop Taste Remains Introduction
This snack shop located at No. 151, Guogou East Anli, Budai Township, is next to a local Chenghuang Temple. Inside, there are only two simple tables and chairs, a stall, and a thirty-year-old old menu board. They sell only three items: black tea, mung bean soup, and douhua (tofu pudding). Although these are three simple desserts, they hold great significance. The handmade douhua is both chewy and soft, and the syrup takes a whole day and night to simmer, resulting in exceptional fragrance and sweetness. Each mung bean in the mung bean soup is soft and tender, neither too hard nor too soft, providing an excellent texture.
