Chih-Cao-Pu - Chef's Home Introduction
"Chichao Pu Culinary Research Studio" is located in a pebble-washed house beside Provincial Highway 11. If you are not careful, you might miss it while admiring the beautiful blue sea view on the right. The restaurant is run by a young couple who started this hidden French-style eatery in 2014. The interior has a simple and fresh style, with a maximum of 20 seats, and the menu changes seasonally. Since the owner was previously a French cuisine chef, the couple, returning to their hometown, combines their expertise with local seasonal ingredients to create highly creative seasonal dishes. They skillfully blend "food" with local life and art. Now in its seventh year since 2014, Chichao Pu has developed its culinary concepts from the Longbin environment, Huangdi Neijing, poetry, paintings, solitary moments, to the state of mind, producing 168 different dishes. In 2021, they shifted their creative direction to express the flavor characteristics of wine grapes, featuring aromas from Chenin Blanc, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Grenache, welcoming everyone to experience the seasons.
