Chihcaopu - Chef’s Home Introduction
"Chihcaopu Culinary Research Studio" is located in a pebble-washed house along Provincial Highway 11. If you don't pay close attention, you might miss it while admiring the beautiful blue sea on the right side. The restaurant is run by a young couple who began operating this hidden French-style restaurant in 2014. The interior can seat a maximum of 20 people, featuring a simple and fresh style; the menu changes every season. Since the owner was previously a chef specializing in French cuisine, the couple returned to their hometown and applied their skills to create highly creative seasonal dishes, perfectly blending dining with local life and art. Since 2014, Chihcaopu has entered its seventh year, with culinary concepts evolving from the environment of Changbin, the Huangdi Neijing, romantic poetry, paintings, solitary moments to mental states. During this period, 168 different dishes have been created. In 2021, the focus shifted to showcasing the aromatic characteristics of wine grapes, with the scents of White Fir, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Grenache welcoming each person's four seasons.
