Chee Tsau Pu - The Chef's Home Introduction
"Chihcao Pu Culinary Research Studio" is located in a pebble-washed house next to Provincial Highway 11. If you're not paying attention, you might miss it while admiring the stunning blue sea on the right. The restaurant is operated by a young couple who began running this hidden French-style restaurant in 2014. The interior has a simple and fresh style with a maximum of 20 seats, and the menu changes every season. Because the owner was a French cuisine chef in the past, the couple applied their skills and combined local seasonal ingredients from Changbin to create highly creative seasonal dishes, cleverly merging "dining" with local life and art. Since its inception in 2014, Chihcao Pu has celebrated its seventh year, with a culinary concept that has evolved from the environment of Changbin, Huangdi Neijing, poetry, paintings, moments of solitude to state of mind. During this time, 168 different dishes have been created, and in 2021, the focus shifted to expressing the aromatic characteristics of wine grapes, welcoming the fragrant attributes of four types of grapes: White Grenache, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir, and Grenache with the changing seasons.
