Dumai Flavor Restaurant Introduction
"Domay Flavor Cuisine" is located in the beautiful Yanliao Village along Highway 11 in Hualien, and is a small restaurant featuring indigenous-style dishes unique to the area. The lovely husband and wife owners moved here over a decade ago and have used their respective skills to create this leisurely space by the sea, brick by brick. "Domay" means bear in the Amis language, as bears were commonly seen in the Yanliao area in the past, leading the Amis people to refer to this place as Domay. The warm and hospitable owner often showcased her culinary skills when hosting friends in the past, and after opening the restaurant, she focused on indigenous-style dishes as well as homestyle meals commonly found in shared dining. Friends visiting Yanliao for a meal are welcome to make a reservation by phone in advance! "Domay Flavor Cuisine" is crafted solely by the couple, and throughout the restaurant, you can find the owner's driftwood creations. The production team of the film "Seediq Bale" even visited this place to purchase art pieces from the owner; additionally, the idol drama "Love To Be" selected the nearby inns, seascape, and the restaurant kitchen for shooting, making it another interesting fact to highlight during your dining experience here!
