"Domay Flavor Restaurant" is located in the beautiful Yianliao Village along Taiwan's Highway 11 by the sea. It is a local特色小餐館 that features indigenous cuisine. The adorable couple who owns the restaurant came here over a decade ago and built this relaxing seaside space brick by brick, each utilizing their respective skills. "Domay" (嘟邁) means "bear" in Amis language; in the past, bears often roamed this area, leading the Amis people to refer to this place as domay. The warm and hospitable owner often showcased her cooking skills when hosting friends, and after opening the restaurant, she focused on serving indigenous-style dishes along with common home-cooked meals. Friends traveling from afar to Yianliao are welcome to call ahead for reservations! "Domay Flavor Restaurant" is crafted entirely by the couple, and you can find the owner's driftwood art pieces both inside and outside the restaurant. The production team of the film "Warriors of the Rainbow: Seediq Bale" once specifically visited this place to purchase artwork from the owner; additionally, the idol drama "Love is Back" chose Yianliao for filming at local homestays, seaside views, and the restaurant kitchen, making this a fresh tidbit worth hearing when dining here!
