"Domay Flavor Restaurant" is located in the beautiful Yanliao Village along Taiwan Provincial Highway 11, right by the sea. It is a small restaurant featuring local indigenous cuisine with a unique character, run by a lovely couple who came to this area over a decade ago. They have put their talents together to create this relaxing seaside space, brick by brick. "Domay" in the Amis language means "bear"; in the past, bears frequently roamed in Yanliao, which is why the Amis people named this place domay. The warm and hospitable proprietress often showcased her cooking skills while hosting friends, and after opening the restaurant, she focused on offering indigenous-style dishes as well as common home-cooked dishes. Friends coming from afar to dine in Yanliao are encouraged to make a reservation by phone in advance! "Domay Flavor Restaurant" is a creation of the couple, and both inside and outside the restaurant, you can see the proprietor's driftwood artworks. The production team of the film "Seediq Bale" once visited this place to purchase the proprietor's artistic creations; furthermore, the idol drama "Love Comes Again" chose to shoot scenes in this area, including local homestays, sea views, and the restaurant kitchen, making it a noteworthy experience to hear about while dining here!
