Huilan Bay Happy Farm Introduction
Huilan Bay Happy Farm is located in the Hualien Guanghua Leisure Park in Ji'an Township, Hualien County, covering an area of 45 hectares. The park is filled with sunflowers, ginger lilies, lotus flowers, and various other floral species. During the flowering season, the sight of blooming flowers creates a breathtaking scene. Currently, the park is open all day and offers free admission for visitors. Upon entering the park, visitors can see marble sculptures featuring indigenous totems, as Hualien is renowned for its marble. Hence, various marble art creations can be found throughout the park, allowing visitors to immerse themselves in an artistic atmosphere amidst stunning scenery. Among the most captivating aspects of the Happy Farm are the small animals that are prevalent throughout the area, such as peacocks and muntjacs kept in iron enclosures. The sika deer, although separated by wooden barriers, allow for close interaction, not to mention the goats roaming freely on the grass, which children find hard to resist petting. It truly is one of the most therapeutic recreational parks.
