Cikasyon Forest Park Introduction
Chihkawshan Forest Park is located in Ji'an Township, Hualien County. Originally known as Nanpu Green Forest Park, it covers an area of approximately 11 hectares and was once an air force base during the Japanese colonial period. In recent years, the government has re-planned and renovated the park, planting a variety of tree seedlings, transforming it into a multifunctional recreational park for leisure and ecological education. Chihkawshan Park is primarily designed in a fairytale style and is divided into eight main highlights: the central square upon entry, the wind direction instrument square, and the native plant area, aquatic plant area, and dragon bone greenhouse in the green space. Additionally, it features fun dragonfly sculptures for children, a children's play area, and a garden maze. The vast forest park is the best recreational spot for families on weekends. For those who enjoy cycling, you can also bring your bike and ride freely here, enjoying the gentle breeze and experiencing various scenes typically found only in fairy tales.
