The entrepreneurial story of the Green Tunnel Seafood Restaurant truly began with "a table." The owner, who had just married from mainland China to Taiwan, saw the Green Tunnel become a bicycle path, attracting large crowds to ride and exercise near Yong'an every day. Unfamiliar with the area, she started to have the idea of starting a business, beginning with selling drinks and desserts before setting up a table to expand. The reason was simple: she and her husband loved seafood, and her excellent cooking skills from her hometown quickly spread among the customers. The interesting reason for naming the restaurant Green Tunnel was not only due to geographical factors but also because there is a century-old banyan tree right above the store, so the original name, Mainland Sister Restaurant, was changed. Many customers come to the restaurant seeking its reputation; they prefer not to sit in the air-conditioned box inside but enjoy the dining experience under the green shade of nature, believing that this way of eating creates a different taste.
