Xinyu Green Corridor Introduction
The "Xinwu Green Corridor," located about three kilometers south of Yong'an Fishing Port, has become the largest dedicated bicycle path in northern Taiwan, thanks to careful planning by the city government. The bike path weaves through refreshing forests, with a coastal road beside it offering a gentle sea breeze. It is a delightful experience for families to enjoy together. There are multiple rental shops for bicycles and tandem bikes at the entrance, allowing visitors to enjoy the thrill of cycling without needing to bring their own vehicles, creating beautiful memories with their children while appreciating the grace of nature. The green tunnel features a parking area at the entrance, a walking path system, wooden platforms, resting pavilions for viewing, and interpretive facilities, making it very well-equipped. If you get tired, there are stylish seating areas and convenient restrooms available. The Xinwu Green Tunnel is paved with asphalt from Yong'an Fishing Port to Wangyou Gate, and the ground features designs of ecological animals, highlighting the aesthetics of a coastal bike path. The path is flat with no slopes, and on weekends, it is exclusively for cyclists, eliminating the need to compete with cars and motorcycles, making it the best choice for families engaging in outdoor activities together.
