Xinyu Green Corridor Introduction
Located about three kilometers south of Yong'an Fishing Port, the "Xinwu Green Corridor" has become the largest dedicated bicycle path in northern Taiwan, thanks to thoughtful planning by the city government. The path weaves through cool forests, with ocean breezes from the coastal road nearby, creating a refreshing experience for families to enjoy together. At the entrance of the bicycle path, there are several rental shops for bicycles and tandem bikes, so visitors don't need to bring their own vehicles and can enjoy the thrill of cycling with their children while appreciating the beauty of nature. The green tunnel is equipped with parking lots at the entrance, a footpath system, wooden platforms, observation pavilions, and informational facilities, making it very well-equipped. If you get tired, there are artistic seating options and convenient restrooms. The Xinwu Green Tunnel features a fully paved asphalt surface from Yong'an Fishing Port to Wangyou Gate, with ecological animal patterns designed on the ground, embodying the aesthetic essence of a coastal bicycle route. The path is flat with no slopes, and on weekends, the green tunnel is exclusively for cyclists, allowing families to engage in outdoor activities without competing with cars or motorcycles, making it the best choice for family outings.
