Xinyu Green Corridor Introduction
Located about three kilometers south of Yong'an Fishing Port, the "Xinyu Green Corridor" has become the largest dedicated bike path in northern Taiwan, thanks to the careful planning by the city government. The bike lane winds through a cool forest, with the sea breeze from the coastal road alongside, making it a refreshing experience for families to enjoy together. At the entrance of the bike path, there are several bike and tandem rental shops, allowing visitors to enjoy the thrill of cycling without needing to bring their own vehicles, creating memorable moments as they explore the beautiful natural scenery with their children, making it some of the most joyful times in life. The green tunnel features an entrance parking lot, a walking path system, wooden platforms, observation pavilions for rest, and informative displays, ensuring that facilities are well-equipped. If visitors feel tired, there are decorative seating areas and convenient restrooms available. The Xinyu Green Tunnel is paved with asphalt from Yong'an Fishing Port to Wangyou Gate, adorned with eco-friendly animal patterns, embodying the aesthetic of coastal bike paths. The bike lane is flat without any slopes and, on weekends, it is exclusively for cyclists, allowing families to engage in outdoor activities without having to share the path with cars or motorbikes, making it the best choice for family outings.
