Xinwu Green Corridor Introduction
Located about three kilometers south of the Yong'an Fishing Port, the "Xinhou Green Corridor" has become the largest dedicated bike path in Northern Taiwan, thanks to the careful planning by the city government. The path winds through cool woods while being caressed by sea breezes from the coastal road nearby, making it a delightful experience for families to enjoy together. At the entrance of the bike path, there are several rental shops for bicycles and tandem bikes, allowing visitors to enjoy the thrill of riding without needing to bring their own bikes, while creating wonderful memories with their children and experiencing the beauty of nature—a moment that offers some of life’s greatest joys. In addition to the entrance parking area, the green tunnel features a walking path system, wooden platforms, a scenic pavilion for relaxation, and interpretation facilities, ensuring a complete experience. When tired, there are uniquely designed seats and convenient restrooms available. The Xinhou Green Tunnel is fully paved with asphalt from Yong'an Fishing Port to Wangyou Gate, adorned with ecological animal patterns on the ground, reflecting the aesthetic spirit of a coastal bike path. The path is flat without slopes, and during weekends, it is exclusively for cyclists, allowing families to engage in outdoor activities without contending with cars or motorcycles, making it the best choice for a family outing.
