Xinyu Green Corridor Introduction
The "Xinshi Green Corridor," located about three kilometers south of Yong'an Fishing Port, has become the largest dedicated bicycle path in northern Taiwan with careful planning by the city government. The bike lane winds through refreshing forests while enjoying the sea breeze from the nearby coastal road, making it a delight for family outings, as moments spent together are truly refreshing. At the entrance of the bike path, there are several rental shops for bicycles and tandem bikes, allowing visitors to enjoy the thrill of riding without needing to bring their own vehicles, and to take each step with their children while experiencing the beauty of nature, creating some of the most enjoyable moments in life. In addition to an entrance parking lot, the green tunnel features a pedestrian path system, wooden platforms, scenic rest pavilions, and interpretative facilities, with well-equipped amenities such as creative seating and convenient restrooms for when visitors are tired. The Xinshi Green Tunnel runs from Yong'an Fishing Port to Wangyou Gate, with the entire route paved with asphalt and adorned with ecological animal designs, beautifully embodying the aesthetics of a coastal bicycle path. The path is flat with no slopes, and on weekends, it is reserved exclusively for cyclists, ensuring that families can engage in outdoor activities without competing with cars and motorcycles, making it the best choice for family outings.
