Yong'an Harbor 50-Year-Old Store Introduction
2016 Kaohsiung certified restaurant recommended dishes: signature three-cup squid, steamed stone grouper, century egg sweet potato leaves. From a small noodle stand to one of the well-known restaurants near Yong'an Fishing Harbor, the 50-year-old shop run by Boss Zhu has witnessed the transformation of the Xinwu area from past desolation to today’s prosperity. As the third-generation operator, she grew up watching her elders earnestly prepare meals for customers, which sparked her interest in running a restaurant. Every time she sees customers enjoying their meals with satisfaction, it not only brings her joy but also a sense of mission. Xinwu native goose, Osmanthus three-point crab, signature sweet and sour fish, and Hakka crispy tofu are all flavors not to be missed. To ensure freshness and quality, many of the catches at this 50-year-old shop come from their own fishing boats. The old boss is indeed the old captain, and after bringing in the catch, the fish is processed at the shop, providing seasonal seafood for customers to choose from. Regarding the future, Boss Zhu expressed an international perspective, stating that "Yong'an Fishing Harbor is currently setting its sights on the world, with numerous overseas tourists coming here due to its reputation."
