Recommended dishes at the 2016 recognized restaurant "City of Marine Tourists": Lotus Feast, 客式挑魚 (Hakka-style Spicy Fish), and Spicy Fish. "Escape from the hustle and bustle of the city, and why not take a trip to Lin Family Ancient House Leisure Farm on weekends," says Boss Lin, the fifth-generation operator. Originally engaged in trade, he returned to his hometown by chance and, due to his love for nature and food, transformed Sanjia into a leisure farm. There are various dynamic and static activities available during weekdays and weekends, including barbecues, earthen oven cooking, lotus pond tours, and heritage site guided tours. To adapt to seasonal ingredients, Boss Lin has specially developed a new style of set meal called "挑魚" (Spicy Fish), with the type of fish adjusted according to the season. The fish typically weighs between 1.4 to 1.5 kg, as it is both delicious and features a special iron serving dish that allows fish rich in collagen to be cooked for a long time without falling apart, resulting in deeper flavors. Boss Lin mentioned that there are two ways to enjoy the spicy fish: one is Hakka-style fish, and the other is spicy fish.
