Lace Rice Cake - Begonia Window Flower Wooden Box (Shang He Tang International Gourmet Co., Ltd.) Introduction
Shang He Tang International Cuisine Company is located in the Fuxing area of Lugang, Changhua County, where the soil is fertile and agricultural products are abundant. During the Japanese occupation, the largest Japanese granary in central Taiwan, the Fuxing Granary, was built there, which became a symbol of prosperity. Lugang was originally known as "Lugai Port" because, in the past, there were many deer in central Taiwan. From the Dutch colonial period to the early Qing Dynasty, many traders dealing in deer hides and venison gathered there, hence the name "Lugai Port," which was later abbreviated to "Lugang." Due to its early development history, it was also an early distribution center for rice and grains, leaving many historic sites in the urban area, forming an important tourism resource. Local specialties are famous for shrimp monkeys, traditional pastries, snacks, and crafts.
