Fuxing Granary Introduction
Fuxing Granary was originally a storage place for rice, gathering rice grains from various regions and serving as a symbol of abundance. The Fuxing Granary was built around the 24th year of the Republic of China (1935) and still retains the complete traditional "tiger windows," walls made of rough rice husks, straw, and clay. It has become an important landscape marker in Fuxing Township. Changhua County is known as an agricultural powerhouse, and Fuxing Township has been a significant agricultural area since the Japanese colonial period, which is why such a large granary, covering nearly a thousand ping, was established. The most precious aspect of the Fuxing Granary is its roof, which is equipped with "tiger windows" for ventilation and heat dissipation. This unique architectural structure is quite commendable in design.
