Canxine Bakery Introduction
"Xiangmei Bakery" is located in a small alley of the Shui-Lin Old Market and has been in operation for 65 years. They handmade various worship products for ceremonies, ranging from birth celebrations to centennial worship and seasonal festivals. Local residents often think of "Xiangmei," which feels like home and is trustworthy. Customers place orders first before fresh production, so it's quite normal for the store shelves to be empty! The second-generation owner, Li Chongxian, said: "In the heyday, there were 6 or 7 bakeries in Shui-Lin. As times changed, many bakeries declined, and the next generation refused to return to the countryside, gradually ending their operations! My father, as he aged, began to consider closing the business, but out of gratitude for how the bakery has supported our family from nothing and the affection the locals have for Xiangmei, I decided to return home and inherit the family business in 2000."
