Daba 69 Scenic Restaurant Introduction
Daba Liujiu (Tamalakau) means "warrior" in the Paiwan language and is located at an altitude of 600 meters in the Daba Liujiu Medicinal Plant Park in Puyan Township, Taitung County. The park encompasses over three hectares of mountainous land, including over one hectare dedicated to medicinal plants and wild vegetables, cultivating hundreds of fresh fruits, vegetables, and herbs. It also features the Daba Liujiu Scenic Restaurant, which offers breathtaking views. The observation platform within the park allows visitors to take in the expansive landscape, from the flowers and green trees at their feet to the plains of Taitung City and the Pacific coastline in the distance. The wide-open vista helps one relax quickly, making it feel as though one is in a paradise; taking a deep breath connects the body with the earth, finding peace of mind. The Daba Liujiu Scenic Restaurant focuses on self-grown vegetables, allowing guests to pick their own and blanch them. It also offers various healthful soups, such as Lei Gong tea chicken soup and Five Elements soup, along with bay leaf steamed rice, fruits, and sweet soups. Everyone is warmly welcomed to come up the mountain to enjoy clean, natural, healthy, and delicious dining while taking in the beautiful scenery of Taitung to nourish both body and mind.
