Chen's Mochi Shop Introduction
The signature "Handmade Mochi" was selected as one of the Top Ten Souvenirs and Specialty Foods in Taitung County in 2012. Chen’s Mochi has inherited traditional craftsmanship for three generations, faithfully presenting the taste and flavor developed over 70 years. Starting from selling on the streets with bamboo baskets to establishing a brand-new storefront, they uphold the principle of quality first, using high-quality round glutinous rice from the east. The mochi is made fresh by hand daily, ensuring a fresh and hygienic product without any preservatives, doubling the health benefits and ensuring the taste remains uncompromised.
