Opened in 1999, Paiwan designer Luo Zhijuan developed a strong interest in improving Paiwan craftsmanship and creation influenced by traditional culture and a passion for fashion design since childhood. In order to let more people recognize the beauty of the Paiwan people, she tirelessly focuses on traditional Paiwan design as the main axis, combining modern fashionable elements to improve traditional Paiwan-related products. Currently, she is collaborating with government projects to use Taiwan's eastern unique jade fiber material in conjunction with traditional threads to enhance clothing. A proprietary jade fiber blending technology has been developed, with the blended threads applied to Paiwan cross-stitch products, not only improving the texture of traditional clothing but also significantly enhancing the delicacy of the embroidered totems, making innovative design products a model for elevating Taiwanese indigenous products.
