Yinghui Original Art Workshop Introduction
When she was a child at school, Ms. Luo Ying-Hui was greatly inspired watching her seniors weave. This led her to develop a keen interest in tribal crafts and secretly vow to carve out her own path through weaving skills in the future. Frugal by nature, she practiced diligently with leftover fabric scraps that her seniors discarded. After graduating from elementary school, she honed her skills at a garment factory. After 15 years of hard work, she finally established the Ying-Hui Original Art Workshop. Beyond building a good reputation in her hometown, she often participates in exhibitions in Taipei. With a mindset of inheritance and sharing, she now leads the women in her community, sewing garments and accessories that showcase a strong indigenous style, fulfilling the needs of her tribe while also captivating many city dwellers who love indigenous style. Through Ms. Luo's leadership, current trendy elements are infused into all the works, giving indigenous crafts a new vitality and preserving the community's most beautiful traditions.
