Aimu Village Leisure and Tourism Factory Introduction

Step into the fairytale world of Six Little Pigs, where the story of the Three Little Pigs is transformed into a modern tale at "Aimu Village," hidden within the alleys of Cultural Road. Led by the pigs, visitors can embark on a renewed fairytale experience, discovering the beautiful world of cypress wood. Aimu Village originated from Shunyi Woodworking, with a history of over fifty years in Chiayi. During the second generation, under the stewardship of the Yen couple, efforts were made to explore the potential for wood development through continuous communication with family elders. From the initial skepticism and misunderstanding to eventual recognition and validation, it took a full three years to bring Aimu Village to fruition. This space aims to educate more people about the uses of wood, appreciate the mysteries of trees in nature, and understand the development of forestry. The goal is not only to provide a path for the forestry industry but also to preserve visitors' memories of wood. With this sincere intention, all aspects of the interior design, copywriting, and space conception were crafted by the Yen couple themselves. They have also specially planned interactive game zones and DIY woodworking experiences to ensure both children and adults leave with joyful memories and records, achieving the purpose of edutainment. While enjoying your visit, don't miss the signature dishes here—Cypress Egg and Fruit Popsicle. Cypress Egg is different from ordinary tea eggs; in addition to a secret herbal formula, it is simmered with cypress wood, making it not only healthy and tasty but also leaving a subtle cypress fragrance in your mouth. The fruit popsicles are made from just milk and fruit, with the owner insisting on no emulsifiers or additives, allowing visitors to enjoy them with peace of mind while preserving the original fruit flavor. Despite being a newcomer, Aimu Village constantly strives for excellence. In just five years since opening, the number of visitors continues to rise, with plans for adult skill experience classes in the future. With such dedicated management, Aimu Village is sure to surprise us in the days to come. Recommended dishes: Cypress Egg, Fruit Popsicle, Dorayaki Ice Cream, Winter Melon Tea.
