Yiwu Oyster Omelette Introduction

In order to supplement her family income, the owner, Huang Hsiu-Jin, began selling fried oyster cakes in 2001 along the main street of Xuwu, beside the former "Tai 17 Line" road. The choice of frying oyster cakes was made because oysters are locally produced, making the ingredients fresh and easily accessible. While most oyster cake stalls offer meat cakes, "Yiwuku Oyster Cake" only serves oyster cakes and does not sell meat cakes. The batter for "Yiwuku Oyster Cake" consists of corn flour, soybean flour, and crispy flour; the filling includes cabbage, chives, and oysters. "Yiwuku Oyster Cake" operates only in the afternoon, preparing the cabbage and chives in the morning and delivering them to the market in the afternoon, while the batter is mixed on-site. In addition to oyster cakes, "Yiwuku Oyster Cake" also sells fried sweet potatoes, fried squid balls, and fried rice cakes, with a separate batter made of corn flour and crispy flour. As a result, the fried sweet potatoes, fried squid balls, and fried rice cakes are golden yellow, fragrant, and flavorful, and the business is doing quite well.
