Qigu Lagoon is a remnant of the Tai-Jiang Inner Sea, with its tranquil and beautiful scenery breathtaking visitors. "Taking a bamboo raft tour of the lagoon and enjoying the sunset at Wangziliaoshan" has become a new travel formula that attracts tourists from all over Taiwan to this legendary secret spot. Brothers Yang Guoyuan and Yang Ruixing are local fishermen in Longshan, raising oysters in Qigu Lagoon and using fixed nets to catch fish for their livelihoods. In the 1990s, with the rise of tourism in Qigu Lagoon, Yang Ruixing began operating a bamboo raft service, taking visitors on tours of the lagoon. To enhance the variety of experiences for tourists landing at Wangziliaoshan and to provide them with fresh, pollution-free seafood from Qigu Lagoon, Yang Guoyuan started selling fried oyster pancakes, crispy oysters, and tilapia at Wangziliaoshan in 2003.
