Chicken's Head Introduction
Jigutou, located on the northern coastal area of central Kinmen, resembles a chicken crown. In the past, it served as a ferry terminal for Kinmen-Xiamen shipping. The sandy shore from Jigutou to Ying Shan Temple was also a horse racing track. Due to its strategic geographical position, it can control Yangshan Bay and Hujian Bay, making it an important military defense point. Because of the war, ships and horses are no longer seen, leaving behind abandoned bunkers that together with the sunset create a beautiful scene.
