Jiji Head Introduction

At the northern coast of central Kinmen lies a cape resembling a chicken's comb, known as Jiji Head. In earlier years, it served as a ferry terminal for the Kinmen-Xiamen shipping routes, and the sandy shores from Jiji Head to Ying Shan Temple were once a racetrack. Strategically, it commands the entrances to Yangshan Bay and Hujing Bay, making it an important military defense point. Due to the war, ships and horses have disappeared, leaving behind abandoned bunkers that, together with the sunset, create a beautiful evening scene.
