Yilan: I-Mi-Ti Rice Snack Tourism Factory Introduction
【Evaluation Validity Period: 2024/05/08~2027/05/07】 Wu Yong-Mao, the founder of Yimi Te, known as A-Mao, has over thirty years of experience in making cakes and snacks. He established Haohan Group, becoming the leading manufacturer of mochi ingredients in Taiwan. As Taiwanese people increasingly prioritize food safety and quality leisure travel, A-Mao decided to return to his hometown to create the "Yimi Te Rice Snack Tourism Factory." Using the land left by his father and the professional skills he has developed over thirty years in snack and cake research, Yimi Te, located in Su'ao, stands amidst lush green mountains and occupies nearly five thousand ping (around 16,500 square meters). It has become a comprehensive leisure park combining gastronomy, culture, leisure, and landscape. Feeling grateful for the blessings rice has brought him and inheriting his father's affection for rice, every grain is particularly important to A-Mao. The production process follows traditional methods while incorporating modern essence to enhance manufacturing quality. By introducing Japanese technology, each ordinary grain of rice showcases a simple yet profound uniqueness. Hence, the locally inspired brand is named "Yimi Te," making every bite distinctive.
