Yilan Literary Museum Introduction
The Yilan Literary Museum is located in the city center of Yilan, adjacent to the Yilan Memorial Hall. With a strong Japanese architectural style, the Yilan Literary Museum was originally the principal's residence of the old agricultural school. After renovation and restoration, it became the Yilan Music Hall. To help more people understand Lanyang literature, it has now been transformed into the Yilan Literary Museum. The Yilan Literary Museum retains the original Japanese-style hall, but due to the smaller space, the museum has created small private rooms using sliding doors, providing visitors with different options. Additionally, there is a dining area within the park, housed in an old historic building previously known as the Old Zhushi Mansion, which is managed externally. Visitors can rest here, quietly enjoy tea, and relish the tranquil and comfortable environment. Because of its serene surroundings and peaceful atmosphere, the site has attracted renowned actors like Takeshi Kaneshiro for television advertisements, drawing many tourists to visit, making the Yilan Literary Museum a popular photo spot. Entering the literary museum allows one to calm the spirit, feel the tranquility of the environment, slow down from the hustle and bustle, and carefully read the literary works of Lanyang writers, immersing oneself in the world of books.
