Yilan Literary Museum Introduction
The Yilan Literary Museum is located in the city of Yilan, adjacent to the Yilan Memorial Hall. Featuring a strong Japanese architectural style, the Yilan Literary Museum was originally the principal's residence of an old agricultural school. After renovations that restored its original appearance, it became the Yilan Music Hall. To promote an understanding of Lanyang literature, it has now been transformed into the Yilan Literary Museum. The museum retains the original Japanese-style halls, but due to limited space, the management has utilized sliding doors to create small cabins, providing visitors with different options. Additionally, the park features a dining area housed in a historic old mansion, managed by an external operator, allowing guests to take a break, quietly enjoy tea, and savor a tranquil and comfortable space. Due to its serene environment and peaceful atmosphere, the location has attracted the famous actor Takeshi Kaneshiro for a television commercial shoot, drawing large numbers of visitors and turning the Yilan Literary Museum into a popular photo spot. Entering the museum allows one to calm the soul, feel the tranquility of the surroundings, slow down the pace of life, and deeply read the literary works of Lanyang authors, immersing oneself in the world of books.
