National Central University is located in the Zhuanlian District of Zhongli City, occupying approximately 62 hectares. With its beautiful campus landscape and convenient location, it has become a popular filming location for many television dramas. Supported by the popularity of these shows, National Central University has become not only a campus but also a favorite dating spot for young people. Entering the campus through the main gate along Zhongda Road, the first sight is an oval-shaped garden designed along the slope, with the words "National Central University" intricately woven from yellow banyan trees, creating a magnificent view. Continuing through the circular area leads you to the Baihua River Pine Forest Trail, paved with stone slabs, where there are viewing platforms, leisure seats, and lighting. Here, you can admire Ju Ming's famous bronze sculpture "Tai Chi Arch" on the grassy lawn nearby and find a huge banyan tree known as the "Cathay Tree" for its resemblance to the Cathay Life Insurance logo, both of which are great photo spots. At the end of the trail is an open-air coffee bar, where visitors can often be seen enjoying coffee and sunshine on weekends, accompanied by the sounds of laughter from kites and frisbees, creating a carefree atmosphere. The exceptional beauty of the National Central University campus has attracted several idol dramas, such as the lake where the main characters fall in "18-Year-Old Promise," the Cathay Tree where Wu Chen-jun makes a wish in "Peach Girl," the chair beside the Tai Chi lawn that Angela Zhang sits on in "Love Kills 17," and the Pine Forest Avenue that Zai Zai rides in "The Poor Prince." Most recently, the "Chengdong University" from "My Freedom Era" is actually National Central University, with the romantic Baihua River serving as the backdrop for the "Chengdong University" Christmas dance, where the school decorates with colorful lights for the festive atmosphere every Christmas. The campus not only exudes a cultural and artistic vibe, but it also features two elegant fountains surrounded by greenery, swaying gently in the breeze, adding a poetic touch.
