National Central University Introduction
National Central University is located in the Zhongli Shuanglian Slope area, covering approximately 62 hectares. With its beautiful campus landscape and convenient location, it has become a popular filming site for many television idol dramas, turning National Central University not just into a campus but also into a favorite dating spot for young people. Here, you can stroll along the Pine Forest Path lined with towering pines and blooming flowers, take deep breaths of the fragrant osmanthus scent carried by the breeze, and easily enjoy the expansive green lawns, the tranquil waters of the Central University Lake with its willow reflections, as well as the artworks by renowned local sculptor Ju Ming. Entering the campus through the main gate along Zhongda Road, the first sight that captures your attention is the oval garden designed along the sloping terrain, with the words "National Central University" woven from golden banyan trees, presenting a magnificent sight. Continuing through the circular garden, you can meander along the stone-paved "Pine Forest Path" which features observation platforms, leisure seating, and lighting. Along the way, you can appreciate Ju Ming's famous bronze sculpture "Taiji Arch" and discover a huge banyan tree known as the "Cathay Tree" due to its resemblance to the Cathay Life logo, both excellent spots for photography. At the end of the path lies an outdoor café, where it is common to see visitors leisurely enjoying coffee and sunshine on weekends, with laughter from flying kites and frisbees filling the air. The unique beauty of National Central University's campus has attracted many idol dramas, such as the scene of the protagonists falling into Central University Lake in "18-Year-Old Promise," the Cathay Tree where Wu Chenjun makes a wish in "Peach Girl," the chair next to the Taiji lawn where Angela Chang sits in "Love Kill 17," and the Pine Forest Avenue where Zai Zai rides a bike in "Rich Poor Prince," all the way to the recent "My Free Days," where the "Chengdong University" is actually National Central University. The romantic Pine Forest Path has also become the scene for "Chengdong University" Christmas ball, and during Christmas, the university decorates the area with colorful lights to celebrate the festive atmosphere. The campus not only has a rich cultural and artistic vibe but also features two elegant fountains, with trees swaying gently by the lakeside, enhancing the poetic atmosphere. Groups of students or couples can often be seen walking around campus, adding to the romantic ambiance. If you're not in a hurry, you can take a leisurely stroll hand in hand on the large lawn at the campus entrance, spend a relaxed afternoon, or lie down enjoying the warm sun, together writing chapters of love stories.
