Yong'an Conch Cultural Experience Park Introduction
The Conch as Architecture, Beautiful Like a Work of Art, Arrives at Yong'an Fishing Port. You definitely cannot miss this building that seems to be born from the waves—the Yong'an Conch Cultural Experience Park. The exterior design is inspired by "the conch buried in a shallow hill," combining the rhythm of the waves with the spiral lines of the conch. The overall color scheme is dominated by white and gray, evoking the image of pure white waves and a tranquil ocean. Standing in front of the Conch Pavilion, every flowing line seems to whisper the stories of the sea. The dynamic design swaying with the wind cleverly resonates with the rhythm of nature, epitomizing the perfect combination of architecture and ocean culture. Feel the call of the sea and overlook the healing ocean view as you enter the park's courtyard, where you'll immediately be drawn to the white conch landscape art named "The Call of the Sea." The designer has integrated sound art into the landscape, creating a "sound landscape" where you can listen to the sounds of conchs. Close your eyes, and it feels as if you can sense the rhythm of the waves crashing against the rocky shore, bringing a sense of serenity and reflection—a dual feast for the eyes and ears. Continuing upward, you reach the observation platform on the second floor, which offers a panoramic view of the Taiwan Strait. This area not only features comfortable seating but is also a popular spot for photography, especially during sunset when orange and red rays illuminate the sea, weaving a poetic and dreamlike scene with Yong'an Fishing Port. Traveling through time into the Hakka Fishing Village, you step into the special exhibition room "Hakka Fishing Village Story Museum," making it feel as though time has reversed. Here, the history and culture of early Hakka fishing villages, along with living utensils and fishing tools, are showcased alongside interactive facilities, immersing visitors in a traditional fishing village atmosphere. From fishing traps to blowing conchs, each aspect reveals the wisdom of the Hakka ancestors coexisting with the sea. Combining the local cultures of Xinyu and Guanyin, this place is not only a display but also an immersive educational experience. Coffee Aroma Dancing with the Sea Breeze, Nothing is More Needed on a Journey than a Drink and a Moment of Peace.
