A part of the small house serves as a bookstore, with shelves filled with books on both sides, facilitating exchanges through a book-swapping method. It provides travelers with a stress-free space where they can rest and read comfortably. The small loft of the 69 Shidianzi Organic Bookstore has now transformed into a backpacker’s hostel. In the past, due to high birth rates, a house would often accommodate over ten people. The small loft is a perfect example of how early Hakka people effectively utilized space. Now, this small loft retains its function and has become an inn for travelers. The quaint Hakka old house has become a hidden gem that foreign backpackers visit to seek tranquility. The small bookstore is not just a bookstore; old, mottled walls are adorned with artists' paintings.
