Gulongtou Zhenwei Temple Introduction
The former residence of Li Guangxian, the Governor of the Guangdong Navy during the Qing Dynasty, was built in the 59th year of the Qianlong reign (1794) and is now designated as a county-level historic site. The house features three sections with a rear addition known as Tuhui (similar to Hulong), representing early Qing residential architecture. The "Taishan Shigandang" in the back of the house stands tall and proud, making it the most notable Shigandang in Kinmen. The residence houses over ten exhibition halls, including the Water Source Museum, Local History Museum, Fish and Clam Museum, and Governor’s Hall, showcasing the achievements of Li Guangxian, the reconstruction of the Zhenwei Hall, daily utensils from the Ming and Qing dynasties, and ancient agricultural, fishing, and pastoral implements.
