Cihu Triangle Fort Introduction
The Triangle Fort at Ci Lake is located within the Ci Lake coastal area. Surrounding the fort are trenches dug for protection, and barbed wire forms a minefield along the beach to prevent enemy advances during wartime. The fort has a solid structure and camouflage appearance, with living quarters for troops conducting missions. Observation posts and firing ports are situated at each corner, and a watchtower is also present, making it a formidable fortress. As cross-strait tensions have gradually eased, the Triangle Fort has transformed into a cultural landscape for tourism and natural ecology preservation. In late spring and early summer, the blooming evening primrose next to the Triangle Fort attracts many bees, butterflies, and summer migratory birds, such as the European bee-eater, creating a colorful spring and summer scene.
