Cihu Triangle Fort Introduction
Cihu Triangle Fortress is located in the Cihu coastal area. Surrounding the fortress, trenches were dug for protection, and barbed wire was used to enclose a minefield along the beach, preventing enemies from advancing further during wartime. The triangular fortress features a robust structure and camouflage appearance, serving as a living area for stationed troops to rest and carry out missions. Observation posts and firing ports are set up at each of the three corners, and a watchtower is also established, making it a solid fortress. As cross-strait conflicts gradually subsided, the Triangle Fortress transformed into a cultural landscape for tourism and natural ecological conservation. In late spring and early summer, the blooming evening primroses near the fortress attract many bees, butterflies, and summer visitor birds such as the Eurasian bee-eater, creating a colorful spring and summer scene.
