Kuningtou Battle Museum Introduction
The Guningtou Battle Museum was established in 1984 by Song Hsin-lien, the Commander of the Kinmen Defense Command, to commemorate the Guningtou Battle that determined the standoff between the two sides of the Taiwan Strait. After the Kinmen Defense Command transferred management to the Kinmen National Park in 2001, the museum reopened. The museum mainly features 13 large oil paintings that depict the events of the Guningtou Battle.
