Three Eye Well Introduction
The San Yan Well, located in the Nanshan settlement of Guningtou, is an essential public space for local residents in their early lives. This ancient well is ingeniously designed with three water extraction holes in a shape resembling the Chinese character "品," allowing three people to draw water simultaneously. It is one of the few traditional wells found in Kinmen. The San Yan Well not only addresses the problem of multiple people gathering to fetch water but also serves as an important place for villagers to wash clothes, chat, and interact, showcasing the rich culture of everyday life. To this day, it quietly stands in the village, telling the story of the diligence and wisdom of the people of Kinmen.
