Three-Point Well Introduction
The San Yan Well, located in the Nanshan settlement of Guningtou, is an indispensable public space in the early lives of local residents. This ancient well is cleverly designed with three water draw openings in a shape resembling the character "品," allowing three people to draw water at the same time. It is one of the few traditional water wells in Kinmen. The San Yan Well not only solved the problem of multiple people drawing water at once but also became an important place for villagers to wash clothes, chat, and interact, showcasing rich folk cultural life. To this day, it still stands quietly in the village, narrating the hardworking and wise lifestyle of the people of Kinmen.
