National Center for Traditional Arts Introduction
The National Center for Traditional Arts is located by the Dongshan River, near the famous Dongshan River Water Park. It is conveniently accessible, taking about 20 minutes by taxi from Luodong Railway Station, making it an important cultural tourism area in Northern Taiwan. The park covers an area of 24 hectares, with buildings following traditional techniques combined with modern aesthetics, inspired by early folk settlements in Taiwan from the 1930s and 1940s, presenting a rich Taiwanese rural and folk atmosphere. Entering the park feels like stepping into a time tunnel, with artisan shops and traditional grocery stores lining the alleys, featuring crafts such as dough figurines, sugar cane, and glove puppetry, allowing travelers to personally experience the life scenes and childhood memories of early Taiwanese people.
