Donggang Banyan Tree Park Introduction
Donggang Banyan Tree Park is located in Donggang Village, Zhuangwei Township, Yilan County, adjacent to the estuary of the Yilan River and Lanyang River, right next to Donggang Pier. It serves as an important spot for the local coastal scenery and is also the southern exit of the Yilan Coastal Bicycle Path. The park features two rows of over a dozen old banyan trees with dense branches, creating a natural green pavilion that provides visitors a great place to cool off and find shade during the summer. This area is a recreational spot that combines both natural and cultural features, and nearby, visitors can enjoy views of the simple fishing village and coastal scenery. It is one of the points that connect the coastal recreational resources of Zhuangwei.
