Big Freedom Studio Introduction
On the short Kuanxi Shitianz Old Street, there are several unique shops, one of which is "Dazizai Studio." Here, various plant-dyed handmade products are sold, and interesting plant dyeing courses such as indigo dyeing, drawing dyeing, and leaf transfer printing are offered. Upon entering the studio, the space constructed with wood and wooden furniture exudes a warm atmosphere and a strong sense of antiquity. The plant-dyed products in the store use natural materials; for example, in the case of scarves, there are indigo-dyed scarves, torch ginger-dyed scarves, and unique leaf transfer printed scarves, creating different visual effects through the interplay of materials and dyeing methods, making each piece unique. Additionally, there are various styles of bags and corresponding dyeing techniques available. One example is the limited edition coffee burlap bag, made from coffee raw bean burlap; the bag must go through cleaning and boiling processes to remove dirt and rough textures, which is quite labor-intensive. Accompanied by indigo dyeing and leaf transfer printing, it is not only distinctive but also very eco-friendly. In addition to selling plant dye series products, Dazizai Studio currently offers three experiential courses: "Arenga Pinnata Juice Dyeing," "Indigo Dyeing," and "Leaf Transfer Printing," with different pricing standards based on fabric material and size, ranging from NT$250 to NT$1,200 (reservation required), making it very suitable for parent-child activities.
